1) Committee Member Information

Each standing committee will select a chair. The committee will develop written statements of the committee's responsibilities, guidelines and goals. These will be reviewed annually. The committee will submit a yearly budget to the board of directors. Each committee will receive an appropriate orientation from the board member/committee chair or the President or Vice President.

Ideally most of the work of the board is delegated to standing committees who review information, debate issues comprehensively, and prepare a written report to the board.

There are eight standing committees: 1) Executive Committee 2) Nominating / Board Development Committee 3) Capital Campaign / Fundraising Committee 4) Public Relations and Communications Committee 5) Finance Committee 6) Personnel and Policy Committee 7) Volunteers Committee 8) Building / Operations Committee.

If you are interested in volunteering on a standing committee please contact:
